Exercise healthy living

We all know that exercising is good for your heart, body, mind, but another great reason or basis to exercise is to have healthy, glowing skin.

Most people tend to focus on the benefits of exercise for the cardio part of it, but we all know it also helps tremendously with circulation, which in turn, keeps our skin healthy and radiant.

Those with skin issues such as eczema, acne, rosacea, etc, may need to take some precautions during physical activity, but it doesn't have to stop or prevent you from moving around. This is because there is an increase in blood flow when you exercise, which helps to nourish skin cells, which is very crucial.

Our blood carries vital nutrients and oxygen to the working cells throughout our bodies, including the skin. Blood flow helps carry away waste products and free radicals from working cells, besides the all important nutrient, oxygen.

Exercise does not detoxify your skin, as some may claim. That is the job of our livers, which helps in neutralizing toxins. But by increasing blood flow through sessions of physical activities, it helps to flush cellular waste out of our system. Look at it as cleansing your skin from the inside out.

Exercising has been shown to also ease stress. And by alleviating stress, some conditions that get aggravated by stress sees some improvement, like with acne and eczema. Even though researchers are still investigating the link between stress and skin, studies show that the sebaceous glands, which is the producer of oil in our skin, are definitely impacted by stress hormones.

While you are getting on a good exercise regimen, it's always good to keep the outside of our bodies healthy, too. Our skin happens to be the biggest organ of our body. So, go ahead and try some of our many wonderful products that will keep you hydrated and moisturized with a healthful glow.
